Google have launched a new product called Knol. I will describe Knoll in my next post, but for now i wanted to point out that Knol seems to be missing something.
When you login to your Google Account and add Knol to your Google products you will see that Knol favicon image is missing. I dont know whether its just me or some others are also experiencing this, but Google seemed to forget to add that image. Being less probable, Google don’t have that image yet or they just put it into a wrong folder or under different filename.
All favicon images on Google Account share the same scheme:
iGoogle favicon: https://www.google.com/accounts/ig20×20.gif
Blogger favicon: https://www.google.com/accounts/blogger20×20.gif
etc.
And if you try to check Knol’s favicon at https://www.google.com/accounts/knol20×20.gif you will only see “The page you requested is invalid” message from Google.
Thats kind of weird as far as im concerned. But maybe its just me.
I tried with Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer as i thought that maybe its my browsers fault. But no, it seems to be the same for both browsers. I also checked with different language options and still the same result.
