Google Keyword Tool is now equipped with search volume data. Thanks to this feature you’ll be able to…

…see the approximate number of search queries matching your keywords that were performed on Google and the search network. These approximate numbers are intended to provide better insight into keywords’ monthly and average search volumes than previously provided by the tool.

The search volume data are available in Approx Search Volume [Previous Month] column.

Search volume data is useful in many ways:

• Shows you how many time a term or phrase was searched for in Google during the previous month (approximately),
• Lets’ you chose keywords with high search volume and low advertiser competition,
• You can plan your ad campaign in more detailed way as you may see how much traffic you may expect to get for certain keyword and you may prepare accurate budget for spendings,
• Chose most accurate keywords for your website that may bring the most qualified traffic to your site.
