To find your Google Analytics account number please follow those steps:
- Log in to your Google Analytics account at http://www.google.com/analytics/
- At the Analytics Settings page chose the profile you would like to find the tracking number for and click on “Edit” button next to it.
- Click on “Check Status” on right-hand side of the Main Website Profile Information, above “Edit” button.
- This site shows your tracking code ready to copy & paste on your site. Below Instructions for adding tracking you can chose the method you wish to use on your website.
- Neither way, your Google Analytics account number is shown in the UA-xxxxxxx-y format. The y represents the profile number and is different for each profile within an account, while UA-xxxxxxx is your Analytics account number. Its the same for your whole account.
You will need this number to delete your Analytics account and its always good to know where to search for it.

Do you know how to search within a master account by account number? I have analytics sub-accounts for over 50 sites and am trying to locate the account/profile for a particular account number (that I accessed by viewing the script already in the site’s code).

Well Toni, i can not think of any easy way to do that. I guess you will have to do it manually. But its a good feature Google should consider adding to their system. I have send a feature request to Google concerning this issue. Maybe they will answer.
