Google Analytics online software enables to share the collected data with other users in just couple of simple steps:
- Log in to your Google account and open Google Analytics.
- On the bottom of Analytics Settings page click “User Manager” button.
- To give access to your account to new user click on “Add User”.
- Enter new user informations. NOTICE! Email address MUST be a Google Account.
- When you are finished click “Finish” on the bottom of the page.
- New users have now access to your Analytics informations by logging into their Google Accounts with their email addresses and passwords.
There are 2 different access levels in order to keep control over who sees what in your collected data.
- View reports only - a user may see all the reports generated by Google Analytics, but don’t have the access to changing account details.
- Account Administrator - a user is granted permission to edit and change account settings.
To modify access to existing user:
- Advance to the User Manager page which displays a list of “Existing Access” users.
- Click on “Edit” button next to the user you want to modify access permissions.
- Change the name, email address, access type or websites access to the destination permission.
- Click Save Changes on the bottom of the page.
To delete a user access go to User Manager page and click Delete button next to the user you wish to delete and confirm by clicking OK.
