So here we are. 1st of April, all fools day, a beautiful day and the last day of this years SEOcontest2008. The winner takes it all, $1000 cash, the pride and glamour. Ladies and gentlemen, its official:
1st prize goes to http://www.seocontest2008-sphere.com/ - the winner of the SEOcontest2008 organized by UK Webmasters World forum. They were the best among all 132 participants and made it to the 1st place on Google for “SEOcontest2008″ key phrase. Today Google is showing 1,500,000 results.
The next 3 places are as follow:
2nd place - http://www.seocontest2008.com/
3rd place - http://seocontest2008.org/
4th place - http://www.pogung177.com/seocontest2008/
All 3 participants will receive $100 each as a consolidation prize, but i dont think thats what they were counting for. Well, anyway it has been a great SEO contest, it gave me much knowledge and fun. During those 3 months many things happened, many times the leader have changed, new members registered, there were more and more results on Google every week. And finally the winner is one.
My sincere congratulations to the Sphere team who did a great job on getting to #1. Well done!

Yes, i also hope we can meet again during next SEO contest. I have learned many things now and i hope that next contest will be as good and as competitive as SEOcontest2008. Im already looking forward to seeing you again.
