Are you tired of constantly changing from one social website to another while using different passwords to post your message? Would you like to manage your accounts from one website? Well, that’s what Ping.fm is all about.

Ping.fm website

Ping.fm enables you to post your message simultaneously to many different websites such as:

  • Bebo
  • Blogger
  • brightkite
  • Facebook
  • hi5
  • Jaiku
  • LinkedIn
  • LiveJournal
  • Mashable
  • Myspace
  • Plaxo Pulse
  • Plurk
  • Pownce
  • Tumblr
  • Twitter
  • Xanga

As Ping.fm is still in beta stage there will be probably more websites added. To register with Ping.fm you need an invitation code. After you register you are encouraged to share the code with others:

Tell your friends about Ping.fm! Tell them to use beta code “tastyping” so they can get in on the beta action!

Ping.fm dashboard settings

In the dashboard section you may edit your profile, set up websites you want to post to and of course a posting box to send your message to other websites you have accounts with.

You will be also given a special posting email address. You may use it to send your messages from your own email.

With Ping.fm you have the control over where you post your messages. You have 3 triggers to chose from:

@s message - Posts a status update
@b title^body - Posts a blog
@m message - Posts a micro-blog

That way you can select where your messages will appear. As you may not want to send everything to your all services i think its a good solution.

Do you think Ping.fm will be successful? I’m waiting for your comments.
